We have some great employment opportunities & are looking for Apprentice Linesman to be a part of our dedicated team!
As a fulltime Apprentice your main duties will be project based & working with the requirements needed to successfully deliver the expected works. Works may include basic Electrical, Labouring & WHSE Tasks. You will be required to report to the Project Supervisor when required & deliver all task to successfully complete the scheduled works.
Areas of responsibility:
- Always adhering to safety standards, as well as complying with company and industry regulations
- Installing brackets & Hangers to support Electrical Equipment
- Installing and completing Civil electrical works
- Large Submain Cable Installations
- Install, replace & repair electrical equipment
- Learning from experienced tradesman
- Perform electrical Utility Services on the authority network
- Reading and Interpret drawings
- Assist in Troubleshooting faults & testing
- Current driver’s license
- White card
- Positive and up-beat team player
- Take personal accountability with own development
- Commitment to safety for self and others
- Ability to travel & work overtime when required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
