About the role
This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll supervise electrical crews and help deliver works safely, efficiently, and to specification.
You’ll play a key role on site, leading daily activity and working closely with project leadership to keep work moving and standards high.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading pre-starts, toolbox talks, and daily safety conversations.
- Supervising electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors.
- Coordinating labour, materials, and daily work plans.
- Supporting construction, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Ensuring works meet safety, quality, and project requirements.
- Helping maintain strong communication between site teams and project leadership.
- Oversee installation of HV/LV cabling systems, Solar, BESS, or associated infrastructure.

What you’ll bring
- Electrical Trade Qualification.
- Experience as a Leading Hand or Senior Electrician.
- Background in renewable energy, HV, or large infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of WHS and site-based risk management.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding and interoperating relevant Standards and Codes of Practice.
- Contract Training GC 21 AS/4000 Standard Minor works.
- Training in OH&S disciples.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
