Electrical Supervisor
JLE Group is an industry-leading electrical engineering and contracting company based in Dubbo, servicing the Central West NSW region for more than 20 years.
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our growing team delivering renewable projects, BESS systems, and major infrastructure works and make a lasting impact.
About the role
This is a senior site leadership role responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of electrical works across renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
You will lead multiple crews and Leading Hands, acting as the key link between site execution and project management. Your focus will be on safety, quality, delivery, and team performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating Leading Hands, electricians, and subcontractors.
- Overseeing works to drawings, specifications, and project programs.
- Managing workforce planning, including rosters, fatigue, and resourcing.
- Identifying and resolving site constraints, delays, and issues.
- Allocating labour, plant, and materials efficiently.
- Supporting commissioning, energisation, and project handover.
- Supervising HV/LV electrical infrastructure, solar farms, BESS systems, substations, switchgear, and cabling systems.
- Ensuring adherence to ITPs, hold points, and quality requirements.
- Monitoring workmanship to minimise defects and rework.
- Acting as the main on-site contact for clients, inspectors, and stakeholders.
- Providing accurate site reporting and maintaining project records.

What you’ll bring
Essential:
- Electrical trade qualification.
- Demonstrated experience as a Site Supervisor or Senior Leading Hand.
- Experience delivering renewable energy, HV, or infrastructure projects.
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management or similar.
- Strong knowledge of WHS systems, SWMS, and risk management.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and project programs.
- Proven leadership and team management capability.
Desirable:
- Strong planning, organisation, and evaluation skills.
- Understanding of relevant Standards and Codes of Practice.
- Contract training in GC21 or AS4000.
- OH&S training.
- 7â12 years’ trade experience.
