This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics professional with a strong background in import/export operations, international freight, and supply chain coordination to take ownership of domestic and international logistics activities within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

- Coordinate freight bookings with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to meet customer and project delivery requirements.
- Support customs clearance by assisting with HS Code classification, COO verification, and import/export documentation to optimise duty and tariff outcomes where applicable.
- Raise, manage, and track freight-related purchase orders in accordance with company procurement policies.
- Validate and reconcile freight invoices, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely receipting and payment processing.
- Monitor shipments from dispatch through final delivery, proactively managing delays, exceptions, and operational risks.
- Maintain accurate freight, export, and customs records to support compliance, audit requirements, reporting, and traceability.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight providers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Prepare and distribute logistics performance reports, providing visibility of shipment status, costs, service levels, and key risks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across freight, export, inventory, and logistics processes.
- Ensure compliance with customs, international trade, transport, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain logistics SOPs, workflows, templates, and operational controls to promote consistency, compliance, and best practice across the business.
