We are looking for someone with excellent analysis, communication skills and enthusiasm to be part of our team.Reporting to the utilities manager you will work on challenging projects from their inception to completion and will foster and maintain a strong client relationship.We are looking for experienced ASP3 designers who are either ex-utility or have a significant number of years’ experience as ASP3 designers on network infrastructure, where you will have the opportunity to thrive as part of a dynamic team of engineers. You will provide a full range of supply authority design solutions for building services and infrastructure projects.Duties and Responsibilities:Planning and scoping of ASP3 high voltage projects with a speciality in overhead powerline designs for a range of clients such as private HV customers, renewable infrastructure, commercial developments, network augmentations, universities, schools, industrial & mining.Management and delivery of electrical projects from concept, thru design and construction.Delivery of projects in timeline & budget.Negotiate with supply authorities & relevant stakeholders, obtaining approvals and certifications.Attend internal & external client meetings & site inspections.Build relationships with internal and external clients.Ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Group Leader.Ability to attend & conduct field investigations for project works. Skills and Experience:Degree qualified engineer (must be recognised by Engineers Australia).Local experience working in a design consultancy or similar.
